To join a game in the games list either double click on the game name with the left mouse button, or click on the game name and then click the Join button.
If the game is password protected the player will be prompted to enter a password. When entered correctly the player will be added to the pregame room. For team only games,
players must be members of one of the teams specified in the game name to join.
Clicking the Team Game button will display the Team Game window.
To create a game type in a game name, choose the duration or length of game
you want, choose the maximum number of players you want in your game, type in the name,
or part of the name, of the team you want to play against and then click Search.
Once the search is completed it will list team names that match your search.
To choose one of these click on the team name and then click Create Game.
The only people who will now be able to join this game will be members of either
your team or the team you chose in the list.
You may choose or remove other options in this window such as AI bots,
power-ups which are items you can collect to give you special skills on the field and
Fairground keepers are a little like the targets you see at the fairground which move
backwards and forwards and fall over when hit.
The buddy list works like most major messenger systems,
it allows you to add friends to a list and to message those friends when they are online and offline.
Offline messages are collected once the friend logs into the game.
The buddy list is shown at all times except during the half time period of a game.
To activate the buddy list click the down arrow on the buddy list area.
This will expand the buddy list to show you all your friends, both online and offline, as well as pending messages.
It will also show the Find Buddy button.
If a player wants to change their nickname without having to go into the Options screen they can
use the /nick command in a chatroom, whether that chatroom is a normal chatroom,
buddy chatroom, in-game chat or pregame chatroom.
Wherever a user can chat they can use the /nick command to change their name.
The full command is /nick nickname where nickname is the new name the user wants to use.
A user cannot change to a nickname that is already taken.
The game needs a minimum of 64Mb of Graphics memory.
If you Graphics card does not have this it can cause strange things to happen.
Some video cards are known to cause some problems,
for example the integrated SIS Graphics cards and some of the Intel Integrated Graphics cards.
The only solution to this is to upgrade to a dedicated Graphics card if your motherboard supports it.
With a new game it takes time to build a community,
and whilst doing this there may be times when there are not many players in the game.
If there are not many players online you can create a game yourself and include AI BOTs.
This will allow you to play a game whilst waiting for others to join you.
If you get this message it means that your game is no longer connected to the host.
This is usually caused by the quality of the internet connection to or from the host.
If you return back to the lobby screen, you may be able to rejoin the game to continue.
Maybe your mouse sensitivity is too high.
Go into the options screen and try setting your mouse sensitivity values to between 25 and 50.
Maybe you are experiencing high latency over the internet.
Try connecting to games listed as green in the lobby screen.
Green games have the lowest latency, amber games have some latency, and red games have high latency.
Maybe the person hosting the game has insufficient upload bandwidth to cope with all the players in the game.
This problem will be improved in new versions with our upcoming data compression system.
Maybe a player has joined the game with a very high ping value to the host.
Each player's ping value is shown under the player's name on the pregame screen when they have selected a shirt position.
Low ping values are shown in green, average pings are shown in amber, and high pings are shown in red.
If you get this message it means some game data has been lost on the internet
and you need to leave the game and rejoin in order for it to correct itself.
This will improve with new versions and should soon not be seen at all.
